Of Counsel

Native of Nazareth, Charles J. Peischl graduated from Princeton University, majoring in politics and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree awarded magna cum laude in 1966. He received a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1969.

After completing Army active duty in 1971, Chuck became an associate in the Estates department of a large Philadelphia law firm, before joining Walter, Peters and Preston Moritz in late 1973 as a partner in their Nazareth law firm. During the years since then, Chuck has continued to be focused on estate and trust law and he has also served as counsel for various business entities.

Chuck chose to leave the larger firm to practice in a small town in order to participate in community, civic, and charitable organizations such as: member of the Board of Directors of C. F. Martin & Co., Inc, Mayor of Borough of Nazareth from 1978-1986, member of the Board of Directors of National Penn Wealth Management and many more.

As of January 2019, Chuck began a transition from serving as a partner to being "of counsel" for Peters, Moritz, Peischl, Zulick, Landes & Brienza, LLP. Chuck and his wife, Gwen, live in Nazareth and have two children, Kara and Jonathan, as well as two grandchildren. They plan to continue their years-long passion of traveling internationally and domestically.
